Multi-country workshop on delivering impact for healthier populations
This workshop explored successful implementation of the Healthier Populations Billion in six leading countries across different priority areas: Road Safety, Tobacco, Obesity and Alcohol. It brought together official country delegations from Mauritius, Tonga, Türkiye, Jordan, Brazil and Thailand. These delegations came together with WHO staff and external experts to explore what really drives success on the ground and share lessons on how to overcome common challenges to implementation, drawing on their direct experiences of success. Juliette attended throughout the workshop to facilitate discussions while also conducting key informant interviews with each country delegation throughout the sessions to gain their perspectives on the ingredients of success in developing, adopting and implementing laws, policies and interventions for healthier populations.
